GRANDPARENTS DAY!!!

On Monday the 3rd of December a group of TY student set up a grandparent’s day for their Youth for Justice project. They set up the prayer room with tables and chairs. They also had tea and biscuits set up on the tables.
Then students waited outside for their grandparents to arrive. One by one the grandparents arrived to their granddaughters and where shown inside the building to the prayer room where they all gathered and enjoyed the tea and biscuits for an hour. The main idea of the grandparent’s day is “to bridge gaps between generations”.  After the tea the girls walked their grandparents around the school and broth them to the front gates. It was a very enjoyable and different morning in school.
One girl that was at the grandparents day said "it was Interesting to see other girl’s grandparents and I enjoyed showing my granddad around my school".
